Currently, our process involves contacting our Operations Manager (firstname.lastname@example.org) and supplying a time, address, on-site contact person, and project scope 72-hours prior to the event or project date. Rush fees apply if request is made with less than 72-hours notice.
Yes, while our priority is to assign any requested videographers to our partners, if they are unavailable for any reason on our side, we will assign an equivalent substitution.
On-demand projects require full payment to secure a project date. Crew rates that do not include an edit require a 75% deposit prior to shoot date. On-Demand and Crew rates that include an edit require a 70% deposit prior to first shoot day and remaining payment NET-15 of first draft delivery (or in some cases a ‘teaser’ delivery) and prior to final delivery.
We understand some of our strategic partners have different payment arrangements made with their clients, but we ask that whenever possible payments regarding video production reflect our model to ensure smoother project delivery.

Whenever possible, Fluent Video works to eliminate travel fees. Traditionally, we operate within a radius from Bergen County, NJ that includes up to Albany, NY/Allentown, PA/Woodbridge, NJ and excludes New York City, Philadelphia, and Long Island (these require a per-day flat fee of $150).
We work with videographers in their “zones” to avoid travel costs outside of this radius, however in some instances during a busy season or due to project restrictions, we may be required to utilize our in-house staff or our team members located outside the project’s zone. In these instances, Fluent Video will do what’s possible to minimize travel fees. Overnights and Flights can be managed for crew by Fluent Video and are costed out on a per-project basis.
